Hello parents!! The fourth grade team hopes everyone is having a great week. Here are some things going on at the Park...
-This week is Red Ribbon Week. The students are allowed to dress out of their uniforms for the rest of the week. Tomorrow, they will "Red Out" the school and wear as much red as they can! On Friday, they can wear Career Dress- business suits, dresses, career day wear- this can include jobs requiring a uniform, including sports, healthcare, etc… to show they will “Live for the Future, Be Drug Free.” Can't wait to see all of the fun clothes they wear for the rest of the week! -Wednesday of next week is Halloween. This is just a reminder that we will not be celebrating Halloween at Sedalia Park. Please do not send in any goodies unless it is for a birthday. Thank you for your cooperation on this! -Please remember that if your student is absent to send in an excuse note via your child or email your child's teacher. Here is what we have been learning... Math- starting the unit on multiplication and division Writing- transitioning from narrative writing to opinion writing and using what they know about person narratives to inform their opinion writing Reading- analyzing the theme of a story from the details of the text and summarizing the story Science- ecosystem unit: describe the roles of producers, consumers, and decomposers Social studies- analyzing the battles of the Revolutionary War and the key people involved, including allies Please let us know if you have any questions about any of the information above. Thank you all for everything you do! We hope you have a GREAT rest of your week!
